Porsche has announced the design of its third residential high-rise, the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok, a project the company touts as an “architectural masterpiece.” Developed in collaboration with real estate partner Ananda Development, this luxury apartment building will rise 95 meters in Thailand’s capital city, furthering Porsche Design’s expansion into residential real estate.
The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is set to be a 21-storey structure featuring 22 opulent duplex and quadplex apartments, elevated above a striking exposed pedestal. It will stand as Porsche’s third residential venture, following previous towers in Miami and Stuttgart.
Lutz Meschke, Porsche’s deputy chairman of the executive board, highlighted the significance of the project: “This unique, exclusive architectural masterpiece perfectly aligns with our strategy to offer discerning customers exclusive experiences across all facets of life. The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok represents a major milestone for Porsche in Southeast Asia, a region increasingly vital to our brand.”
The building will incorporate a spiral access ramp leading to communal garages, designed as “passion spaces” for car storage and social interaction. These garages will serve not only as storage but also as sophisticated venues for social gatherings and exclusive events. The apartments will feature terrace doors inspired by the Porsche 911’s retractable roof, allowing for a seamless integration of indoor and outdoor living.
Amenities will include a 25-meter swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and social and business lounges. Construction is slated to commence in early 2025, with completion anticipated by the end of 2028.
This announcement follows a trend of luxury car brands delving into real estate, with recent projects by Aston Martin, Bugatti, and Bentley also making headlines in the architectural world.
